Carol and Derek are wonderful hosts. on arrival they informed us that the local pub was not open for the next couple of weeks and offered to drive us to another pub that evening and pick us up, we had planned to cook a meal ourselves using the excellent kitchen in the annex, but it showed us that Carol and Derek are willing to go the extra mile to ensure that their guests have a pleasant stay.
The annex is well laid out and very clean and the garden allowed our dog Luna the space to burn off even more energy. There are so many beautiful views and places to visit locally that we are planning a return visit later in the year. read less

There is a lovely garden adjoining a field with goats and sheep. The location is great at the end of a narrow village road looking out over fields – very peaceful. Dog walks straight from the annexe. Lots of beaches and places to visit within easy reach. Carol and Derek are great hosts. read less

We stayed for 3 nights in Carol and Derek’s studio whilst visiting family and it was absolutely perfect. Very welcoming and the studio had everything you could possibly want and super clean as well. Would definitely recommend.

The Annexe is small but very well equipped and was perfect for our visit to Dorset for a wedding. The hosts are lovely and it was all very easy.

Lovely little Annex, everything we needed and more! Carol and Derek were very welcoming and made us feel at ease having taken our 1 year old along. The puppy was an added bonus 😊 our daughter loved Ned & Alfie

They left tea, coffee,… read moreWe had a lovely few days at Hell Lane Annexe. Carol and Derek were amazing hosts. They were super friendly and we enjoyed chatting to them. We were the first guests to meet their new puppy! They left tea, coffee, biscuits, milk and eggs from their chickens on our arrival and gave us plenty of information about the area. The annexe was spotless and exactly like the photos and description. It is in an ideal location for Lyme Regis (10 minutes drive to the park and ride) and plenty of country walks direct from the annexe. Highly recommend. read less

Great location. Very friendly and helpful host. The inside was spotlessly clean. Lovely little garden which our dog loved. You can even see chickens and sheep from the garden. Would absolutely recommend

Gorgeous……. peaceful, quiet and totally relaxing. Lovely hosts who were very helpful and friendly. It looked exactly like the pictures!

Very well appointed Annexe but ideal for 2 people in a beautiful, peaceful setting. We were meeting up with family and so it worked really well.

Lovely quiet place to stay with a gorgeous view and immaculately kept garden. Had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Hope to be back for longer next time!
